Duke of Edinburgh's Award Bronze

A DofE programme is a real adventure from beginning to end.  It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, you just need to be aged between 14 and 24.
You achieve your Award by completing a personal programme of activities in four sections - Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expedition.

Dynamic Adventures have been running all levels of the award successfully for over ten years and has run exciting and challenging expeditions all over the UK and Europe.

As an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award  Dynamic Adventures can help with the physical and expedition sections either walking, canoeing or mountain biking. All our staff are fully qualified and CRB checked.

Currently we help train and assess 450 young people a year

Dynamic Adventures provides training, practice expeditions and qualifying expeditions for Bronze level. We also provide approved assessors for groups.

Training includes developing peoples’ navigation skills, introducing them to camp craft and cooking, tent pitching, basic first aid, emergency procedures, expedition equipment, risk assessing and having fun!

The practice expedition looks at further developing the skills learnt in the training and enhancing them. They will be supervised during the practice, with parts being unsupervised but assistance at hand.

The qualifying expedition is for the group to show off the skills learnt and apply them appropriately in the environment. They will be undertaking the expedition unsupervised, although assistance is nearby if required.

If looking at completing the expedition on foot you need to complete 6 hours of planned activity a day.
