SUMMER SPLASH ABOUT 2010

Dynamic Adventures is running our Splash About scheme for 8-16 year olds at Titmus Lake, Tilgate Park, Crawley during July & August on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's starting Monday 26th July and finishing Friday 27th August.
Session times 9.30 -12.00 and 13.00 - 15.30.
Meet at Hut 13, Tilgate Forest Recreation Centre, Tilgate Drive.
Cost per session £16.00 including vat per participant (payment by card / cheque in advance or by arangement cash on the day.

First Aid Training

Dynamic Adventures is able to offer 4 hour, 6 hour, 12 hour courses, plus the 3 day Health & Safety at Work with updates avaiable. We can also offer 6 hour & 12 hour Pediatric Courses.

The course can be run at your work place or a mutually agreed location. They are designed to be first of all FUN and INFORMATIVE.

Slovenia 2009 with the Kelsey Trust

In August we embarked on a trip of a lifetime to the stunning area of north-west Slovenia.
On day one we were feeling very extreme and adventurous so opted for white water rafting down fast flowing rapids on the River Soca. This was adrenaline packed and very exciting and if we weren’t wet enough we definitely were at the end of the water fight!
Our second day was very scenic as we set off on a mountain trek; we caught a cable car to the bases of Kanin which was on the border of Austria, Italy and Slovenia. At the top, which was over 2500m, the views were spectacular; a truly magnificent experience. Despite the heat and dressed for summer we were surprised to find some snow, obviously a snowball contest ensued which was a surreal experience to say the least.
The third day was the start of our two day trek out of Bovec. The weather continued to be kind to us and we had ample opportunities to cool off in the river. We worked well as a team to pitch our tents and cook our own food, such an achievement as there was not a MacDonald's in sight!
Sleeping in the outdoors inevitably resulted in an early start which was fantastic as we managed to see a beautiful sun rise. We packed up our tents and loaded our bags to continue on our expedition through the countryside along the Soca; after taking a well deserved break we then travelled up the mountain paths to the source of the river. To see the river at its start was a confusing sight; it was barely believable that the little trickle we were looking at turned into the vast river that we had been swimming in downstream!
On day five we took a day trip to Lake Bled; the sun was shining and it was the perfect day to have a picnic by the lake and cool off. The whole group got involved in the games and took great pleasure in ganging up on the Dynamic Team and pushing them in.
Day six the group was split in two so that one group went mountain biking first while the others were climbing the via feratta - Via Ferrata is the name commonly used to describe the high level footpaths found in the Alps that use fixed cables for protection and steel ladders to surmount difficult sections. The mountain biking was great fun a little challenging in places but definitely a worthwhile experience seeing the great alpine views. We met up with the climbers and then swapped around. The via ferratta was an awesome sight, clambering up the steep sides was a terrifying yet exhilarating experience.
Our last full day in Slovenia was the first day of rain but that did not stop us. We went canyoning and the whole group loved it. The initial climb to the start in full wetsuit gear was hot and as a result more of a challenge however it was well worth the effort in the end. Everyone took part in going down the naturally formed jumps and slides, and the feeling of achievement at the end was incredible. That evening although we were all thoroughly exhausted we all went out to dine in a local restaurant and had a lovely evening relaxing in the town and sampling some of the best ice cream ever. Even our last day was a full on adventure; we managed to fit in an abseil off a bridge and a picnic lunch on the riverbank. The whole trip was a highly successful and thoroughly enjoyable experience for both the staff and participants. The days were action packed and included a number of experiences that for many of the group will be a once in a lifetime opportunity; without the help of the Kelsey trust this would not have been possible. SUMMER SPLASH ABOUT

Summer Splash About 2009
Over two hundred students joined the Dynamic Team for the Splash About on Tilgate Lake this year. Everybody had lots of fun and games in the open canoes and kayaks and evey seesion was enjoyed by all despite the mixed weather conditions.
Due to the high turnout and massive success of this year we are keen to repeat the experience again next year, so...

Dynamic link with the Swiss Alps.

We have been going to the Swiss Alps for a number of years and now have a base from which we run many activities, including fantastic white water rafting, great walking and climbing, high ropes, sailing and canoeing.
Over the last few years we have run a variety of activity camps for schools and adult trekking in the region.
We use traditional wooden chalets in the heart of the mountains, providing great accomodation and catering.

Over the last few years Dynamic have been running exciting and varied expeditions abroad. These have included. Iceland, Pico's and Pyrenees in Spain, the Alps, Ardennes, Italy, Slovenia, Kenya, Sardinia and Switzerland. This year we are running adult trekking to Italy, Duke of Edinburgh's award to Sardinia, Public Service courses to Costa Du Rada in Spain, staff training to the Balearic islands, Adventure Club to Corsica, and school adventure holiday to Switzerland. All our trips are tailor-made to your specific requirements and could be part of a GAP YEAR adventure. We use experienced staff, who have been to the areas we use. BEL Sports Leaders UK, Level 2 Award in Basic Expedition Leadership (what was known as the Bela qualification).

Based in three exciting locations - North Downs, Forest of Dean and Exmoor . As well as courses that can be run in North Wales. Dynamic Adventures run high quality and enjoyable courses THAT ALWAYS RUN. The BEL allows leaders to lead groups in lowland countryside, ideal for the Bronze & Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition section.
